“Sanjal” means network in Nepali. Event सञ्जाल is a central event management platform we built for New Zealand’s Nepalese diaspora community, a single place to discover, organise, and manage community events, instead of relying on scattered Facebook posts and word of mouth.

The problem
Nepalese community organisations across NZ were managing events through disconnected channels, making it hard for organisers to reach their community, and hard for members to find what was happening.
The solution
A central platform where organisers can list and manage events, and community members can discover what’s happening near them, built with the specific needs of diaspora community organisers in mind.
